fibroid tumor

i have recentlly been diagnosed with a fibroid tumor while having a pap and pelvic exam and i was woundering if scare tissue could feel like a tumor.   I have all the symptoms of a fibroid tumor i have the pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, back pain, and preassure in am abdiman.    i have not had any other test and i was woundering how i could find out for sure.  I have had 2 C-Sections and the tumors are right along the C-Section scare.   Could it be scare tissue that I have?

She is going to try me on some diffrent meds. to see if that works if not then she is  going to send me to a diffrent dr. to have some more test done.  She she said that the tumors are about the size of a quarter but i have like 3 of them.    I go back to her in May to see if any thing has changed but i dont know if it will i have been on the progesteron since the beginning of last month and it has not helped she said that it would shrink them but nothing has changed.

It sounds like you need more testing to find out if this is indeed a fibroid tumor.
Is your Dr talking hysterectomy? I sure hope not before you have all tests done to find out what's going on.
Your going to have scar tissue after 2 c-sections. Did your Dr say how big the "mass" was that was felt?
