help

Why do the vagina have a different  smell after my hysterectomy.  havnt had sex n about 1yr post hysterectomy.  have seen other women asking the same question.. is there anything i can do to correct the problem.. i use mild soap, i douch.  Thr is no discharge.  I truly need a answer..

HI,
Alteration in the Ph of the vagina often leads to different odour, as there is a change in the milieu of the vagina. Avoid douching, douching may invite infections. Also consult your Doctor. A vaginal swab test should be done to detect any undiagnosed infection.
