hysterectomy foul smell

my name is bridgette iam having this problem with a foul smell coming from my vigina. i had a total hysterectomy about a month ago and that is when i noticed the smell. i take two and three showers a day trying to get raid of the smell its driving me crazy.

I had a  C/S delivery 2 years ago ,2 months after I delivered my menstruation came and I noticed the bad foul smell comming from it(i dont have this before)..until now everytime I have my period the foul smell still there. please help how to get rid of it

Hi I agree with above poster, foul smell could indicate infection, or could just be the öld"blood/discharge coming out from surgery. Phone your dr today for a immediate appointment.
If you get pain thats not conrtolled w meds, or a fever above 101. go to ER right away. also if you start to bleed, hot showers are not a good idea post op increases blood loss risk and swelling. You also need to be very inactive , its the best way for fastest healing.

You need to call the doctor who did the surgery and tell her/him what is going on. Foul odor, from any place is reason enough. That you recently have had a hysterectomy is a DEFINITE reason to do so.
