sorry I did not address the thyroid hypo right? happens in one outta 10 women with menstrual issues,,,for me and for most its a easy once in the am tiny pill fix,,I dont think the thyroid has anything to do with your female problems I thin unfortunaltey your one of the ladies who has a thyroid problem as a result of female isssues.
of course always be certain to mention to all drs all medical conditions and medications,,synthroid?
Hi there
Im so sorry your going through so much polyscystic ovaries can hurt so bad,,and by the way you describe the heavy bleeding Id give a educated guess its a bit more then that possible endometriosis or thickened lining of uterus from something...
sometime the best advice seems to come by being in the right place right time,,,sad to say but perhaps good your /dr was sick that one day and you saw someone new...
looooong stroy same sort of thing happened to me 3 years of trying to get a neck dx finally Im in a urgent care clinic the Dr on staff was a Neurologist that man saved me from becoming paralised,
so anyways I have been the CL here for most 2 years and I tell all of the ladies a hyster should be the very last option,,,its a serious painful surgery and a difficult recovery,,,that being said when one really needs one, once its all over you feel as if God has given you your live back to be pain free after year of pain trips to er tons of medications...days of work damage to relationships etc....these female problems play into alot of aspects of our lifes
Id like to suggest to you to not wait for them to contact you, perhaps there was a error or not in either case phone them !!!!!! be your own very best advocate.
I would advice you to ask Dr what they wish you to do for the anemia before surgery DO NOT take anything supplements included with out Dr knowing many can increase surgical problems or interact with other meds they may give you...you must let /drs know everything from an asprin to a vitamin and any herbal meds too.
contact me via pm if your going to have a hyster I can give you some really great pre and post op advice.
also,,,,,,,betweeen now and whenever you see Dr if you soak a pad per hr ,,,go to ER. if you get a fever go to ER if you just feel in general too tired and lethargic go to er,,,if your not able to think clearly go to er,,,( too much blood loss)
trust your instincts always.
