weight gain and bladder pain

I am 34 years old and i had a total hysterectomy 6mths. ago removing uterus and ovaries due to large fibroids. Since then i've gained a lot of weight especially in the abdomen. I am on hormone pills. Also my bladder constantly hurts, especially when it fills. Any suggestions on what may be going on and a solution to these problems.

Sorry I did'nt answer all your questions. I'm in the U.S. I went and had a cytoscopy done and doc says he don't see anything wrong. I'm not imagining the pain and I'm not imagining the small leaks. As a matter of fact the same pain that I was having before the test was ten times worse for about two days after the test. Someone please help.

Thanks for responding. The hormone pills i take is called estrace @ 2mg, once daily. The bladder pain and pressure began like 2 days after hysterectomy. Doc says theres no infection. There's more frequent urination. Doctor who did hyst. said he had to separate my bladder from old scar tissue from previous c-section in '04, but says my bladder wasn't injured during procedure. Went to urologist yesterday and he's running tests on my bladder and kidneys on 8/19. Will keep everyone posted on everything thats going on. Oh yeah he started me on vesicare, i've taken 1 dose already so far and havent noticed any improvement yet.

Could you say a bit more about the hormone pills? What are you taking and at what dose? Also, regarding the bladder pain... when did that start approximately and do you feel pressure and pain? Any other bladder issues?

I can check back later... others may respond here as well, too, of course. But this info would be helpful before I attempt a suggestion. If you are able to let us know if you live in the United States, that is helpful, too (different names for similar products and it can get confusing, to me at least:)
