wieght loss/gain after opp

can you tell me why i can not lose weight after my operation even though i exercise and diet properly

Remar os spot on right  I gained 10 lbs post hyster. lost 16 when I got my Thyroid meds increased and used the bio idnetical patch of estrogen..you should speak to dr about this a Ednochronolgist for thyroid and gyno for hormone info...advice do not go to family dr for this go to the specialists.

Cherie asked you about the hormones because you may need them. Are you having any other symptoms like hot flashes or mood swings?
Some women that have had hysterectomies also have thyroid problems. This can cause weight gain or not being able to lose weight. You may want to have thyroid testing done.
If you decide you do want to take hormones Cherie can give you great advice on Bio Identical hormones. In my opinion, these are better. You may have to do some research to find a Dr in your area that prescribes them. Take care. Remar

How long post op are you? and are your taking hormone replacement?   when I know this I can give you a more informed opinion.
