I would put up with a long recorvery  time just to get rid of the pain. My gyn was going to do the hystoscopy last week but reading my records. He said that I have to take pencilin before hand. I have a b.a.v. (Biscupdid Aoritc Heart valve)

If nobody else understands how you FEEL i DO. I have been there. If I had to guess and of corse its a guess because I am not qualified to make an online diagnosis. It sounds like you have andeomyosis/.or endoemtriosis. One thing for sure is we will know as soon as you get you hysterscopy done.

Of corse you know legally you are the person to make the decision. Please read as much as you can about hysterectomy. Do know its a very painful surgery. The reward for many is being painfree after recovery time which most doctors say is 6 weeks,.There are exceptions to every rule and some women take longer to recover and have side effects.

If you decide to get this procedure please find a surgeon who is qualified to do the DaVinci Robotic Assisted Hysterectomy resurch this. It  is the method I used Its very precise surgically. There is a video of the entire procedure on u=tube its very graphic do not watch it if your squimish.
Also If you decide to do this procedure how well do you trust your current dr? find a good one best recomedations is word of mouth ask around , before any surgery always get two to three opinions.Belive me you will learn different information from different doctors.

I am unaware of legal right outside of the USA, You should as the patient have the right to request a hysterectomy after you have had a long and informed conversation with your doctor. I understand what its like living with severe pain daily that was ultimatley my decision for a hysterectomy plus my uterus was very enlarged,You may have a ovarian cyst.Do not assume the worst most are not cancerous,Once you get your hysterscopy you will know exactly what your dealing with and will be able to make an informed decision.Ask your doctor directly to list your options and which would he think is best for you and your specific case.

Know that a hysterectomy is a very painful recovery for most.It is nice to not have a period when in mid life, Read study ask lots of questions make a very informed decision,
