bowel color and texture and constipation

How can I get my stool to regular consistency. I've discontinued a medication and it made me constipated and my bowels sticky. It's terrrible and hard to have a bowel movement. It seems to just stick all the way down my intestine and is so sticky to intestine lining it is hard to push out. And they are now a pale green colour. Why is that.

I had the same problem, green stool so I did a little research and found this web site http://altmedicine.about.com/od/gettingdiagnosed/a/green_stools.htm
and I would try prune juice and fiber my gastro doctor says to drink 4oz with a teaspoon of tasteless fiber mixed in and to play with the dosage until I get the right dosage to get the right stool consistency .
