Sharp stabbing pain

I went to my doctor about 3 weeks ago because I as having sever pain in my groin area and felt a need to urinate often. They said a UTI and put me one Macrobid. I took the 7 days worth and had no relief. I made appt with my gyno and she could find nothing. I finally broke down and went to ER. They did a CT scan and stated I have bilateral kidney stones. The MD said they were still in my kidneys and had not started their journey yet. I continue to have sharp stabbing periodic pain in my vagina where urethra is. Is it possible I might have another kideny stone stuck in my urethra. I continue to feel like I have to urinate often and sometimes very little comes out.

I also have stones in both kidneys, and thanks to a recent lithotripsy I now have 2 new ones! I also experience the sharp vaginal pains at times, as well as the need to urinate constantly. I have had multiple scans and X-rays and the best the ER doctor could come up with is that the stones may become partially obstructed as if they are trying to pass out of the kidney, and they go back in rather then coming down. This is what he believes is causing the sharp pains. I think it also possible that you may already have one stuck in the urethra as well. Good luck!!

Im going what ur going through.  But I also get the pain on my kidneys.  That comes and goes. When I drink water it relief the pain. And I do have a uti with a lil blood on my urine test. But I had a ultrasound and said my kidneys are fine. But I heard sometimes it doesn't show on ultrasounds it can be small stones. But I also sometimes feel the pain from my kidneys coming down my ovaries. The pain is not severe.  1-10 the pain is like a 4 or 5. Idk if is the infection or if I have kidney stones. Im very confused.
