Soda??

so I just had my first kidney stone a couple months ago at the age of 20. One main reason this happened was due to the amounts of soda I drank at the time(3 times a day). Obviously I've changed this and haven't had much at all since, and I've increased water consumption dramatically.

My question is whether I should drink any soda at all? Would it be acceptable to have some every once and a while? Am I overthinking this? I want to be able to have some occasionally but I worry about more stones.

I drink water with lemon or seltzer and mix it with lemons.

Have you drank tea in the past months?

it would depend on what your stone is made of.. Calcium phosphate stones are linked to colas (which contain) phosphorus.  I really can't accurately answer your questions without a more detailed picture.
