yesterday i take another blood report. cbc test result came, lymphocyte normal, platelets normal, wbc normal. only hemoglobin coming low as 9.13. her nodes are not increasing. but heard about Hemoglobin low for iron deficiency and related with cancer. she still like to drink her mothers breast milk. i also heard, in these age take mothers milk make sometimes anemic. her doctor refuge the HB report from that lab, she said again do it and my daughter has no symptom like that. when she sleep her back side and neck become little sweaty.
She is quite good now. large node become small less than 1cm. she has chronic cold. after that she looks pretty good.
She might now be having problems from too much antibiotics, which can result in intestinal bacteria being abnormal. Does she eat a lot of sugar?
Fever is gone. It is only for a day. It was food poisoning. She is now looking ok. Just little bit weak.
The online pages often make the worst interpretation seem to be the most likely.
Does your family have a history of over reactive immunity?
Thanks for your reply. Her upper neck has the large one node. That is still 1cm. But lower neck 2 little one palpalable nodes touch my finger. The size is not noticeable. Her nasal inflammation coming low. But she had scalpy itchy skin and lices in her head. I am still worried about large one. Though all the doctors and you said it is nothing. But i heard and some report said, when any one suffer for more than six weeks, low platelates and low hemoglobin with enlarged node, it seems to be malignancy. And some cases, no symptoms presence for the victim. Just tell me about it.
Thank you, Albatross! Things seem to be working out well for you and your daughter.
That is strange that no other doctor saw lice before. I wonder if there might also be some other kind of parasite involved. I don't know that a node only as small as an apple seed could be felt under the skin. That's unusual for a node.
It's good to hear the correction that the supraclavicular node is not involved.
None of the symptoms seem like lymphoma at all. Maybe the lice carried some infection.
With the nasal inflammation, maybe there is something that she is breathing in, like in her pillow.
I hope you continue to have more good news :)
All the times you support me very much. Wish you a very good health and happy. Merry Christmas. Jingle flower Jingle flowe Jingle All the way.
Yesterday night i went to a ped oncologist, she saw my daughter and said nothing it is. Her cold and itchy scalp and some lice in her hair make those nodes. I saw a very little one node lower neck tend to enlarge but it not larger than 0.5 cm. I heard supraclavicular nodes are warning sign of malignancy. But doctor overlooked it also.
Still the big one is big, she got still cold. Runny nose too.her supravasculer one node little touchy. Like 0.5 cm. I am really confused. Tomorrow i will go to a ped oncologist. For take her concept about her.
Dear friend, these nodes all gone in a day, only big one still now that is may be 1 cm in diameter. i just really wonder, whats going on! in a day all nodes gone big one become small!. Oh, Allah is great. Thanks my dear.
She got little cold and little scalp type itchy in her head. Her 1.2 cm nodes little enlarge today. It seems 1.5×1cm. What you think its for cold virus? If it is enlarge for cold now. Can we determine that total enlarge of this nodes for virus ? I again said she has no any other odds. Cyrrently she got runny nose and little cough. She had allergy in nasal pass and litlle scalpy itchi in head.doctor tell me wait and observe. But i just not get peace when see her nodes.
Thank you very much for your words, my friend. I am happy to have helped. You are a wonderful father to her. I will especially say a prayer for you both when I wake up on our Christmas morning here.
Keep in mind that zinc and iron can block each other and not be absorbed well together, so she should always take them at separate times. I take zinc myself, otherwise I get ridges in my fingernails and also my senses of smell and taste are low.
Best wishes to you and your little daughter.
Thanks a lot for valuable suggestions. And i got really energy from your speech. My only daughter, i feel that time so helpless ans hopeless. But you and my doctor support me as a spoke man from Almighty. I am really grateful to you and my doctors. it is a fear of lymphoma. It has no very deffinate treatment allover the world. Now i am a free man. I see my daughter walking, running, playing, loughing, kissing me. I am happy for everything. What is treatable, i can face it. Pray for me and my daughter.after one month i will give her updates. Now give her vitamin b complex and zink syrup.
"i want to out from fear of lymphoma. can i?"
Yes. You can instead focus on why your little girl had this problem. It's not lymphoma, and it's probably not anything serious. But still, it's not *ordinary* to have nodes swollen for so long. She might have other overactive immune reactions in her future over the many years, so if educate yourself on these things, you can help her a lot.
Btw, hello to Bangladesh! :)
Thanks again, doctor actually want to say that babies cbc is good, range given from lab for naturally adult. maximum child lymphocyte is big.and i want to out from fear of lymphoma. can i?
That's great news, I'm happy for you.
"Only platelates count low for iron deficiency."
I had not heard of that, it must be having to do only with children and not with adults. Is your little girl vegetarian?
Btw, it is said that vitamin C might increase absorption of iron.
Please let me know when she gets her good health report from the pediatrician in one month :)
Yes i am very happy to see her platelates count is in the range. And also see another specialize pedestrian doctor. he is the most top one in my country. He said, for a 3.5 years child her test result is not bad. Only platelates count low for iron deficiency. He checked other area like bely. Chest and ear side nodes and spleen too.and tell me no need to worry about them. And no more test. And tell these are not big as much to call a biopsy. And off all the meds. Only give a iron syrup. And tell me to see him after one month and observe it.
"Her platelets count 151000"
Things look good then. Maybe that 114000 was just a bad test, sometimes something just goes wrong with a test. Hopefully, she gets another CBC test in a week to make sure.
You must be very happy.

Today got her current cbc and ldh test report. Her platelets count 151000 as just normal. Ldh still but low than before 590.rbc and hemoglobin and wbc all normal range. But her lyphocite count is high 65.
All nodes getting small. Only that node. That node also getting small but slowly.other nodes become 0.5 cm, today when she sleep i take the biv ones measurement, big one is 1.2×0.7 cm. After that i go for a cbc test today. I thought about pplatelates now. Otherwise antibiotic done the job well. Yrsterday i see her doctor. She said contunue meds, and she also said nothing there for specific lymph problem. It is gradually down. My child's weight, temperature, active everything normal.let you know todays cbc results. Thanks.
Well, 114000 is getting lower than expected. I'd want frequent CBCs now. Every week, just to be sure they aren't dropping very badly very fast.
It's possible for some drugs to reduce platelets number. E.g., "Demonstration of an immune-mediated mechanism of penicillin-induced neutropenia and thrombocytopenia."

But that would be rare.
You can ask for a sonogram of the big node. Only a biopsy tells for sure; but even so, a sonogram can still tell a lot of things.
She has given for 4 months phenoxymethyl penicillin 125 mg. And montilucast 4mg.
It is interesting that the big nodes do not get smaller, but they get softer. I don't know why that is, except maybe there is some granuloma from bacteria in the nodes.
I would guess that the thing to do is to patiently finish the 10 days of Cefixime. Maybe the doctor will want to give even more days of Cefixime, if the nodes still continue to get smaller.
Also, I would be giving her yogurt, and not much sugar. In the intestines of every person are good bacteria that are necessary for healthy life. An antibiotic can kill the good bacteria along with killing the bad bacteria. Yogurt might help prevent that, and also prevent bad yeast from taking over in the intestine. In the worst case, you can see white patches of yeast inside the mouth.
