what would the treatment protocal be for these issues listed above?
Hi there.
I believe that your doctors are considering a blood clotting problem that can be primary (inborn, genetic, or inherited) or acquired (due to other diseases or conditions such as previous infections).
Clotting can be affected if you have deficient proteins which are responsible for blood clotting. These proteins are usually manufactured in the liver, and liver problems can translate to clotting and coagulation problems.
Primary deficiencies in these proteins such as factor VIII or factor IX, as well as deficiencies in Protein C and Protein S, can also affect clotting and coagulation.
I hope that your doctors can get to the bottom of this soon, and you may discuss with them the entities I have discussed above.
Regards.
