P.S.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention another part...I was 'diagnosed' as maybe having chronic Lymes disease and been on antibiotics for a few months now.  My sed rate was high about 2 weeks ago as well.  When I was alot younger I accidently drank a mixture of gas/oil that was for our chain saw. My dad put it in a soda bottle up on a shelf and when I came in from school, I was thirsty, saw the 'soda' bottle and drank alot before I realized it. I've heard that gas/oil contains Benzene and its a known carcinogen...Do you think it's what I'm thinking..Leukemia?    Tapanga

Hey...thanks for responding...
It has been about 18 years since the 'drinking' incident so it has had plenty of time to manifest if it was gonna, that's why I'm considering the fact.  I've really been reading up alot about Benzene and etc.
It was about 2-3 years after that I started feeling bad off and on and now it's ALL the time and with EVERYthing in my body messing up.  I am definetely going to keep this under a magnifying glass so to speak.   " Merry Christmas"   Thanks, Tapanga

Hi.
The risk of cancer from benzene ingestion is hard to ascertain.
The basis for the risk was taken from people in the petroleum industry, in which there is repeated inhalational exposure.
Ingestion may have a similar absorptive capacity as inhalation, and hence, a single dose may not be significant to produce cancer. If there were no immediate symptoms after the episode, then it may have been a small dose.
Cancer may take several years to develop, anywhere from 2 to more than 10-20 years, so it gets harder to pinpoint if one event happening is really connected.
Its best you continue seeing your doctor.
