Growths or swelling above Clavile on left and right side.

Has anyone ever had growths or swelling above their Clavicle on both sides or on one.  If so what did your doctor say it was.  I have been to my primary physician who is an Internal Medicine doctor, he says he thinks it is just fat.  Rheumatologist says similiar things.  I had breast cancer 2 years ago and had that breast removed.  My Oncologist had an ultrasound done and nothing at all was seen. I tried to tell them they needed to do it with me sitting up.  They didn't listen.  Now my Oncologist is having a CT done of it, but says if it shows nothing that he won't do any other test.

What can I do? Where can I go? Help anyone.

I have had the swelling on both sides for at leastb4 years. I often asked my primary doctor about it. His thoughts were that it was fat pads.  I have never seen anyone with fat pads there.  It bothers me more now not knowing what it is because of the other symtoms I am having.  I have been having some connected tissue symtoms, with joint ackes and pain, night sweats, fatigue, and afacial rash ythat comes and gos. I have had ESR that has been continuelly high at 62.  I have had high ANA's at 1.80 with a speckled pattern and 1:160 with a homogenous pattern. Sometimes it's normal. So I am still wasiting for the results from other test that were done a couple weeks ago and I go for a CT scan on Friday.

I know that this is a more common area for lymph nodes to swell with lymphoma, but how long have you had the swelling?  A CT scan may be able to differentiate between fat and a swollen node, but a PET scan would be able to see if it has a reaction to the radioactive sugar they inject into you.  The sugar is drawn to cancer cells and lights up on the screen.   Some medical facilities can even do a PET/CT scan combination, which in my opinion would be the best test to have.
