Thank you. Well some good news and bad news. The good news is the doctor said he felt they werent even lymph nodes but infected sweat glands. And he gave me a pill called Amoxicillin to take for 7 days and he said if it doesnt get better to come back. The bad news is that the whole doctors visit seemed real rushed, I couldnt even ask questions because he was backed up with appointments, late seeing me, and then rushing off to the next patient. And I was mad because I have insurance problems so this was the last visit that was going to be covered for a few months and I feel like it was wasted! So since I couldnt ask my questions I have some for you, or for any1 out there who has expierience with lymphoma or even leukemia.
1. after a lymph node has swollen then reduced in size, what is typical size for a normal lymph node?? And what is a size considered not normal and dangerous??
2. is there any chance at all that even if a lymph node has reduced in size and not gotten bigger, it could still be cancer??
3. aside from enlarged lymph nodes what are other symptoms of lymphoma?? I read itchy skin, but what is the difference between "lymphoma itchy skin" and just basic dry skin?
4. last one, what does is mean when there is a lump under the skin and nothing on the surface and then it comes to the surface in almost pimple form?? thats what I felt on the other arm and thats why the doctor said infected sweat glad...
Good luck, once you get your good news you can relax a little.
