In 2008, a small liver cyst measuring 2.3cm was found on my right hepatic lobe. I seen a liver specialist that said it was something I was born with so there was no worries. About 4 months ago, my right side started hurting and I eventually went to my family doctor who did an ultrasound. The ultrasound findings was something like liver cyst 28cm (yes 28!!), on left hepatic lobe, nodule inside of it, this probably represents an old hemorrhage. So I go back to the liver specialist and he wants to do an MRI, he done blood work, and wants to see me back in 6 weeks. He palpated it and said that he felt nothing. My questions are:
How could a liver cyst flop sides?
Why would it grow that big?
Could this be cancerous?
I'm a 23 year old female who feels completely fine.
