im so happy for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kathleen, Stay positive. They thought they had found a 5mm module in my left lung. I cannot even begin to tell you how very scared I was. I too have 2 small children and a history of smoking, but guess what in the CT scan they could not even see it and they just think it was nothing more than a blood vessel. Go figure, I have been going absolutely nuts for the last week, crying, in complete desparation over nothing. You know what though, I did make a promise to GOD that if it turned out to be nothing, I would quit smoking and I have. So stay positive. Sometimes going online and doing all this research is more torture than it should be. Leave it all up to your doctors, because everyone is different and only your own personal doctors know what is going on with you. GOOD LUCK
now thats whatt im talking about !!!!!! hey im a san anto girl !!!! id give just about anything for a carne guisada taco with cheese from Taco Cabana and a Bill MIller Ice tea !! oh and yes..you are quite the babe magnet !
For what it's worth, I've had two uncles that were diagnosed with lung cancer. Each had part of a lung removed and both lived for a long long time. In fact, one is still alive. This is going on 30+ years.
They removed his lung and told him he had 6 months to a year to live and told him to quit smoking and drinking and he said, 'Why would I do that ?' He didn't, and is still putzing around his yard to this day, in his 80's although he did eventually stop drinking and smoking.
Stay positive.
