Back pain - top left, pain when inhale

Hi i woke this morning with an achey back - top left shoulder blade area. All throughout day there has been a dull ache/pain in either my front left chest or top left back, depending on whether my shoulders are forward or backwards when i breath in. Im worried its sonething to do with my lung? or chest? i'm 12 weeks pregnant. Please respond,

Sounds like you may have just slept the wrong way. But because you are pregnant maybe you should call your doctor... if you're concerned. Something as simple as carrying in heavy groceries can cause an ache like that.

Hi - thanks that's what i'm thinking too. It still hurts but has eased a little - certainly feels more muscular than anything else. Was concerned that it hurt when i breathed in, and it still does, but hopefully it will get better. I have called the NHS direct and they just advised paracetamol - which does nothing to help!!. Thank you.
