i have a solitary lung nodlue on my lower right lung

I am 38 year old female. i went to the hospital for shortness of breath and pain in my lungs. (was diagnosed with acute broncitus and a viral infection) i have asthma also. during a routine chest xray they found a nodule on my right lung. im not sure how big it is, they compared it with an x ray taken not to long ago, im unsure of the exact date but know it has been a few months and found that i also had the nodule then they never told me on the last x ray that i had a nodule.they said it was normal. it hasnt grown any but they strongly suggested that i have another x ray and a cat scan this month.i have an appointment with my doctor on april, 19. i am a 23 year smoker and am in the process of quiting. i am also very scared as i have anxiety disorder, panick attacks and agoraphobia..can anyone give me some information about this? please help!!

What was the size of your tumor? They just found a 1mm micronodule in my upper right lobe. Im not sure what to make of it. The  doc missed it said she never missed things, the radiologist discovered, my regular doc looked at it and said he would never even of mentioned it he could hardly find it either. Radiologist said to recheck in 3 9 and 18 months. the first doc said if im anxious about it we could do a six wk xray. I dont know what to think or do. So you said they missed yours the first time? The thing is they dont do anything till they reach 8-10 mm anyways. I thought it was best to get it early. I have no diagnosis. What does solitary nodule mean?

LOTS of tests-pet scan,Mri,blood.Bronchioscope.  Dont let this go untouched...The earlier you catch it ,the better.I will send you a PM

You need to get this checked as soon as possibly-same thing happened to me.My primary missed it and on a hospital visit was discovered.Mine turned out to be malignant and I was a smoker
