Thanks Doc. What do you think on my case? Will I fall on the second kind? Since 1995 I had no sign again. According to my doctor that time. They can't explain where I got it. Since Im female. Im not skinny or tall. No history of TB and no big accident... all signs are negative. I guess I have to be positive. Thanks again!!

There are 2 kinds of pneumothoraces. The first is the one in which it presents as a complication of another lung disease. This other lung disease may be reflected on your record and could be a source of problems in terms of immigration and provided health care in certain countries. The second kind, is called a primary spontaneous pneumothorax, which has no known cause (may be a congenital variation – meaning you were borne with a predisposition for it. This second kind wouldn’t likely cause any problems. Stay positive.
