Everytime I put Kendrick down for a nap he screams on the top of his lungs.it sounds like he is throwing a tantrum at 6 months..I made the bad habit of feeding him to fall asleep but sometime he just falls asleep instantly but he screams have been gertong worse..idk if its bc he is teething im at a loss..his bedtime is he will be upstairs playing but then ill take him downstairs and he and I will cuddle and have mother baby time :) and he will be relaxed and rubbing his eyes and his eyes will close then all the sudden he will scream bloody murder..need advice on how to soothe him better

Kat, you're right about getting.them to bed before they get overtired, this is very true! I think last night that was Bailey's problem, he hadn't slept all day cause we were out and about, and I knew he was overtired. As soon as I see him rub his eyes I usually put him to bed and he goes down no problem.

3rs it felt like for a lil I was lol..my mom is always telling me that I was such an easy baby but I have to remind her that kendrick isnt me..well what is working for me is that I dont let kendrick play to the point he is crying I get him once he rubs his eyes and I take him downstairs and feed him a bottle and play some raining sounds which helps he cried a sleepy cry then passed out I think if I let him get to that exhaustion point its harder for him to be put to bed and just like us their brain needs to re adjust to sleep mode so last night I gave him a massage and we cuddled and I read him a book and he fell asleep without even crying !
But yes he is teething he has two bottom teeth in and im pretty sure he will get more..its def hard to let him cry it out by himself..he hasnt really found his comforting thing yet..but I read that theses moms were going through the same experience and some moms were being ridiculed bc they werent cuddling their babies when they were crying when they put their babies down to bed..but I read after 6 months babies have to learn like soothing and I have to do it when he gets his crib too

Guess what, its 10 clock at night here and Bailey is crying and he's had dinner and a bottle, and we've decided to let him cry it out. We know he's tired, and nothing's wrong, he had to learn to go to sleep, its horrible listening to it, and he is getting quieter, he seems to get more unsettled the more we go in and stroke him and talk to him, its so hard, believe me Kat, you're not the only one!!

It could be teething, that's why I gave Bailey panadol at night. Bailey has also taken to his cot blanket, sucking it, and I thought it was because he was teething, but its now his comforter. So now he has a 'blankie' lol. He would be crying and really unsettled when I realised his blanket was what he wanted. I hope Kendrick gets back into his normal routine soon, I know how hard it is!

Zachary has been doing this too. I narrowed it down to being a combo of gas and teething. As soon as i gave him tylenol and.some teething stuff withing 15 min hes fast aslepp. Warm bath works well.for.soothing him too. And belly rubs. He loves that! They both do!
