I'm at l&d due to tummy pains again... I'm dilated 2 cm and contractions.are 9 min apart. They are keeping me in giving me meds to stop labor.. got steroids for their lungs. Dr said if labor stops I will be here until I deliver and on strickt bed rest...
My boys are doing well. Heartbeats and everything are strong. Please send a prayer or 2... I'm scared I'm actually in labor... 30 weeks is too soon...

Everything will be fine im sure of it when I went to labor and delivery early they made sure that they baby wasnt coming early and they will do the same thing for u also...sending love and prayers to u andyour boys keep us updated

Sending prayers and positive energy. I'm sure they'll be able to get them to stop. Its a good sign that your water hasn't broken. They are both just so excited to see their nursery that momma worked so hard to get ready for them :)

Thank you ladies. They did manage to get them stopped for now. But they are keeping me on them iv and in here for a few days to see how things go. My water hasn't broken but they want me on strickt bed rest until 35-36 weeks. I've been given steroids for their lil lungs. Got this is so.scary .. but everything will be OK at this point right? They won't give me a straight answer! I'm still dilated at a 2 so that's a good thing I guess since it didn't get worse. Anyone have a cork and superglue I can borrow? Lol

My cousins wife gave birth at 27 weeks and he is just fine. It will all be okay. I will send ya duct tape if ya need it.

I comforted by your stories and hearing other babies have been fine born early.. gives me more hope. :-)  

I can't sleep nurses keep coming in every hour to check my blood pressure or something. Grr

Eh sleep is overrated...that's what I keep telling myself anyway. Glad you have the means to keep entertained while there (via the web). Contractions finally all stopped?

Everything seem OK so far. Contractions have stopped for their most part. Been getting one everyother hour now. And not as pain full. Keep checking for dialation and still at a 2.

I love my.sleep. power naps.are sweet! Lol I had my.dad bring in my phone charger so I can bug you ladies :-)

So glad to hear contractions are stopping. I have a feeling you're gonna have two fiesty little boys with how they are already giving you a hard time :)   Hopefully the nurses will give you some peace and you can get some sleep.

I've got that same feeling! I'm gonna blame their father for that since I'm an angel haha.
They have me on a stronger dose of anti contraction meds. That's should stop them I hope...

Its good the you got the lungs steroids coz you know that the babies lung will be developed and will be fine. Its just gaining a bit more weight now otherwise all is in place and babies are just fine. Just rest rest rest.

Oh Emma!! How scary. Ill be praying for you. I'm so glad to hear your contractions are slowing way down.  At this point, even though your boys would have a long haul, they should be fine. Just take it week by week at this point. At this stage a lot happens with their development in a week and there are so many resources available to babies born this early. You guys will be fine. I believe someone upstairs must have some pretty big and special plans for you. You're a strong woman!!

Everything is OK for now. They are keeping me until I deliver.But Dr was talking about pulling the babes at 35 weeks or so depending how I'm holding up. They have me on them anti contraction meds now again
They took me off for a little bit and sure enough they started again. I'm not quite 3 cm. Dilated and about 70% effaced. This is going to be a very long stay ladies...  oh and I'm on a horrible diet since I failed the glucose test... don't have diabetes but I am hypoglycemic....

Lots of oranges eh? Well you were expecting them early...now you have a clue of when..Only 4 1/2 more weeks. We will have to keep you entertained while your stuck on bedrest.

Nurses are pretty nice. Kinda slow when you ask for something. Took me over an hour for water refill...of well. Least they don't work for tips haha. Sorry I'm bored right now.

No worries. I'm exhausted. Met my bff for lunch and we went decor and prize shopping for my shower on the 1st of June.

Just remember it'll be all worth it once they are here and healthy. How's your son handling this?
