Wohoo! I'm going to get a week away from the in-laws! Hubby did some work for a friend and since he can't afford to pay us, he is giving us a week in their timeshare on the Oregon coast.
The crappy part...hubby asks last night if we want to invite anyone to join us for a few days.......Ugg how to say uh no..duh...without being rude or hurting his feelings.

I did it.....this morning after he killed a HUGE spider and I about had a heart attack. Ugg....that's the only thing about having nice summers up here is they get HUGE. I started by asking him what he had in mind considering he brought it up, and he said he didn't have anything in mind. So I took your suggestions and told him I'd like it to be our families first vacation. His parents have an issue with leave n cleave- and basically brainwashed their kids...so hoping this will help also to understand that we ARE a family just the 3 of us.
Emma, I want some venison! I'll trade ya some fresh Alaskan halibut for it! :D Next year I should be able to hit the rivers for salmon as well.  Always was into fishing, but never hunted, but love venison.

Ohhh, so jealous!! I have no idea where exactly you're going, but it sounds great! Just casually tell hubby how you're looking forward to some time alone, that you don't need anyone else. Maybe he thought you'd want some company while there?

Oregon coast is beautiful. I was up there last year at this time and walked on the beach and i could hear the ocean, just couldnt see it due to thick fog. I mean i coildnt see 3 ft ahead of me. Kinda scarey but awesome. Next year ill be up for sure. Hunting.season just started so this mama will be blating dinner lol

Just say you want time with just you guys and the baby. No one else. Bonding time with no one else in the mix. What part of oregon?

Tell him you want a romantic getaway and some time just the two of you and a third party might take away from that
