fussy after shots
So how long did baby hurt and be fussy after shots? Got our first ones on Tuesday. I feel bad cuz its like nothing helps...
She did better yesterday. She is back to normal today. Maybe next year I should plant lavender so I have fresh to use. I'm just not great at outdoir plants. I'm better indoors.
Oh i hate it when babies have to get needles....but i must say, Bailey didn't have any trouble after his. He cried when they were given, and then seemed to have a really long nap afterwards, but after that, no problem.Hopefully she'll be over it real quick.
Flick..calming lotion is prettyuch lavendar. They have a night time lotion you can get. Same thing as a calmimg lotion. I think they do know who poked. Mine started crying when.dr walked in lol
Poor babies. They go thru so much the first year dont they? Mine were fussy too. Dont be affraid to use tylenol. It does help. I massaged their legs gently amd warm baths amd let them soak a bit. Dr even said ice pack to help with swelling that we dont see..and of cpurse the mothers love. Kat i hear ya. I.cried too. Youd think after dping it with my.first child this would be a breeze but nope. I still cried. They gabe 3 shots in on leg and two in the other and they both turned purple after the first.. freaked me.out. and i felt so bad. They need to come up.with a nicer way of giving babies their stuff.maybe something that taste good??
I havent even heard of calming lotion. I know I've been moving her legs so they don't stiffen up and I know the one side is still sore as of last night while the other side doesn't seem too bad. I totally think they remember and understand more than we realize. When the shots happened, Cady stopped crying as soon as the nurse left the room. She knew who poked her.
Poor Cady and poor mama! After her four month shots Genevieve seemed to get nervous every time I layed her down for a couple days almost like she thought she was going to get shots again. They say infants don't have a long memory but I wonder if they don't remember more than we think.
Have u tried rubbing it with avenoo calming lotion my doctor said u have to rub the area bc its sore
Ive given her Tylenol. She is more fussy today than yesterday. We took a bath yesterday to help with the soreness. And I can't get her to sleep more than a catnap. I'm exhausted and feel horrible cuz there is nothing I can do to help her.
Kendrick immediately turned red and started to cry right after omg I broke into tears felt so bad for him but he wasnt really fussy after he was sleepy..so idk what to say :( ya try tyenol or ask the doctor what u can give her
With all three kids it usually only last 24-48 hours. I usually gave them tylenol for the first 24 hours even if they didn't get a fever because I'm sure they still have sore thighs.
