not again...
At the hospital. Contractions again. They are pumping me with steroids for the babes lungs and meds to try and stop labor..n I'm beyond terrified and I'm here alone right now. My dad is on his way from work.. ladies this can't happen. Not now. Not at 28 weeks. Not now... I they stop...

My dad is here. Im still being pumped with steroids. My contractions are still coming but have slowed down some and not as strong. I've d ialated to 2cm.. but have not thinned. Im scared girls. No one can give me a straight answer... if my baby is born this early will he survive??? 28 weeks??

It's rough but yes. My cousins son was born at 27 weeks. Every minute baby bot can cook will be helpful. Praying!!
I've herd quite a few stories about babies being born at 28 weeks and surviving although he will have a long road ahead of him. Just remember that you're better off now at 28 weeks than you were at 23 weeks and at 30 weeks you'll be better than you were at 28 weeks. Like flick said, every day that he has to stay in there the better your chances.
I'm glad you were able to give an update. I kept checking back in here to see if there was one.
Medication hasnt helped much. Im still having contraction. Not as strong or as close together. They are now keeping me in here and not letting me go home. Hope it stops and baby boy stays in side for a long while yet. Right now dr says time will tell. :(
Try to relax the best you can. I know it's easier said then done. Medicine can do amazing things from helping keep him in longer to helping him to grow and thrive outside the womb. I've know a few baby's born before thirty weeks and you would never know.

Omg emma eekk everything will be ok gurlie and the doctors will make sure that the baby stays in there to bake some more..ugh this is when I wish u lived 30 mins away from me

I really hope for the best for you right now and your baby, 28 weeks, I think bubs would have a very good chance of survival, but of course the longer he stays in the better.
Wish you ladies were here... labor and delivery is suppose to be a happy place.... but its not... contractions are coming and going. But not stopping. Almost at a 4.... please tell me I'm gonna wake up soon and be at home with a normal pregnancy soon....
Do they know why contractions are starting now? And once you dilate, can your cervix close back up again? I'm so praying for you that everything goes well x
They aren't sure why. I responded well to the meds last time. Im gonna ask about tge cervix. Can they sew it up?
They can sew it up...not sure what makes a candidate for it. Praying!!! Think positive!! Glad they are letting the kids visit. See if there is a massage service you can get. A pregnancy massage may work and I know some therapeutic massage therapists work the hospital circuit.

Its going. More meds. Contractions have stopped as of midnight. Baby is doing super well tho. I keep hearing baby cries and mommy's pushing lol.
Since I'm gonna be in here for a while I need surround sound and a huge tv with normal non hospital food.. right now I'm living on Turkey sandwiches on a croissant. Yummy. Even the chocolate pudding doesn't taste like chocolate :(...

Several people at my church asked me how you were doing today so just know that there are people really praying for you and the baby. Glad he's doing well and glad you're contractions have stopped for now. I'm surprised the hospital doesn't have a welcome home sign above your bed as much time as you've had to spend there!!

Ahhhhhhhh!!! My honey is here now!!! YAY!!! He brought me flowers and a double double from in n out. Lol love him
