I dont understand people... when someone dies they become voltures... why cant they just wait and let some time for healing? This is the reason i wrote my brother out of my life. Havent spoke to him.since my mom passed. He is a money hungry, drug doing piece of skum!! He found out about nana passing away, then my uncle found my phone number amd had the balls to ask me what he was getting and how much money... wtf?? The wills have not even been read yet other than their last wishes.. so now he is mad at me because i am the one who holds them both. Im the one who is to.deside when we will go over them. Man I hate having this pressure on my shoulders to carry. Keeps this up and i wont hesitate to file.a restraining order against him. So frustrated.... Flick, where diid you say this cabin is and where is the spare key? I need a vaycay now lol

My great grandma was like that. She was my best friend. When my parents split, I didn't get to see her again. She died without me even knowing til a couple years later. I think it was about 1993 that she passed. She was 93 years old (Born May 13, 1900). I loved the stories she shared. She taught me so much about perseverance and hard work. So I understand completely how you miss your nana.
As for the scriptures, I did some studying and found some that may help. I struggled with Matthew. There's so many other books that have scriptures that make sense for this timing. Not sure how a couple loaves of bread and some fish feeding 5000 people will help during this time.
About Love:

God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us. We share in the many sufferings of Christ. In the same way, much comfort comes to us through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
About Facing Disappointment (one piece of luck in Matthew)
Those who are sad now are happy, because God will comfort them. Those who want to do right more than anything else are happy, because God will fully satisfy them. Matthew 5:4,6
About our Security in Jesus
Now we hope for the blessings God has for his children. These blessings, which cannot be destroyed or be spoiled or lose their beauty, are kept in heaven for you. God's power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time. 1 Peter 1:4-5
About Fearing Death
We know that our body- the tent we live in here on earth- will be destroyed. But when that happens, God will have a house for us. It will not be a house made by human hands; instead, it will be a home in heaven that will last forever. 2 Corinthians 5:1

Ive been looking at pictures and stuff from nana, she has one hell of a story. 102 years old.. she has seen amd done ALOT in her life. Wish I could sit down with her and listen to jer stories again. Was always a pleasure and eye opener..
My uncle was a train wreck.. pretty similar to johnny cash minus the fame lol. Booze and drugs and has been clean for 20 yrs. He still lived a beautiful life. He taught me to be a fighter and was one of my biggest supporters. He had a way abput his tough love that made me work damn hard to become the woman i am today. He taught me to stand up and fight for what i believed in and to never give up hope when i wanted to so bad.

I'm sorry you have to deal with all that with your brother on top of dealing with the deaths of two family members. That is a beautiful story about your nana living until 102.
I will go.down.and talk to the pastor from her church for some help. I jist wanted to.try amd pick some and read them. I am reading the bible trying to understand it. Started going to church a month ago so billions of questions lol.

Maybe the minister from the church could help you? They'd probably know a few good ones to use. Wow, a house? That was so nice of your nana to leave that to you..is it far from where you live now?

I got the funerals all set up and ready to go. It was actually pretty easy since they both pretty mich had them planned. And almost paid for.. I cant believe how much these cost when someone passes.
As for the wills, i will be going over them with my lawyer for his help. He has ways with dealing with unruleing people. So that will help me with stress levels. As for my brother, he only get a few things and sad tp say he is gonna pawn them for his filth. He gets no money. Me on the other hand, ive been left with a house my nana bought in Oregon. Coos bay. But for now, im tryong to pick bible verses... any tips? Im not to good at picking this type of stuff after being Pagan for so long.. i look at death alot diff than most people. Any help would be great. I was told the book of matthew. Bit no idea where and what ones would be approp..

Ya I mean unfortunately people are like that rubs me tge wrobg way when people r like that..when my great grandfather passed away he promised my mom paintings and a sculpture but family members just took it without acknowledge my mom..it really hit home with her bc when she had me my great grandfather was the only person that was nice to her and the other family members weren't so forth coming..

It's just disgusting isn't it? Unfortunately deaths can sometimes bring out the worst in people............I would just politely say 'we will discuss the will when the time is appropriate' then make sure you have someone of a legal standing there when it is read. It's terrible though when someone dies, others like to think what they can gain from it....i pray for lots of strength for you at this time x
