I finally got one jut in case i need it, its only $200
Philips Avent Isis iQ Duo Breast Pump
i sow in babies r us Ameda Ultra BP... i will check on that one...tx
I got the Ameda Ultra BP. It does the dual pumping, can turn to one, and you can also hand pump if needed. Came with lots of sizes and a cooler to store milk until you can store it at home. I was reading reviews from BF mom's and this was the highest rated, easiest to use and clean, and was reviewed higher than medela which you see everywhere.
DH has a monitor picked out. That's his department.
tx girls!
I will look into that " sensor pad angel care monitor".
The baby will sleep with me day and night the first 2 months but and then i have to go to work and he has to sleep during the day in his room and my mom and husband will keep an eye on him so this is why i need also the video monitor...
am looking to get the avent...the price is great as well
I have heard that the Avent pump is good, I might buy that one as well.
About monitor, we purchased the Summer-someting that has a video monitor and works with no light; we have tried and it seem to work just fine, off course need to wait to use it with our little princess...
I have a medella mini electric breast pump and It is a little noisy but didn't wake Lilly and she was a terrible sleeper!
I too have a sensor pad angel care monitor. I felt it was better than a video because you Cant See breathing on The screen. With my monitor, I have peace of mind that bub is still breathing.
Good luck with your decisions ;)
I have the Medela Pump in Style, and I don't think it is that loud.
As for video monitor, I will never use one as baby will be in our room for the first few months, and then his room is right next to ours once he is ready to transition into his own room. I have the standard radio monitor with the motion sensor pads, as my biggest fear is baby will stop breathing during sleep or something like that.
