What do you take on your trip?
Hey all!
Since I am leaving to go to USA in 34 days, and I am starting to think of what to take with me. I will be gone from home for 9 weeks. Last time I was gone for 5 weeks. Of course, we all have things we need to take on our trips. But I was thinking, what is that you just can not leave behind?
Me, I usually take my own pillow case. It is purple and has a big love heart on it. Gives me comfort when I am lying in some rainy cold camp ground! I used to take my teddy bear but since the weight of baggage has gone down he has to stay home!
What do you take that you can't live without?

The journal is a great idea.

a good new book\
eye glasses
charge cards..they wont take cash on planes for food etc anymore
my photos and phone lists and other important info is on computer
your insurance card
in your wallet a just incase note, list allergies, emergency contact numbers

Oh yes I nearly forgot, I always take a pic of my now grown up children. And my journal. Every day I write down what I did that day. It is amazing when I re-read the one from 5 years ago how much I had forgotten, yet how fresh the memories were!
The camera...can't forget that.
Sneakers, with orthotics, for lots of walking.
I can't live without my Jewlery , or my pillow I hug ever night

Your THYROID meds, of course .. cannot leave home without them LOL!
OK .. on a serious note .. hmmmm *thinks* ....
--> Extra set of glasses if you have one in case something happens to your primary ones
---> A laptop to check in with us daily
----> Hairspray in a non aersol version; my last trip it went off in the suitcase and RUINED 3 outfits! They had to be thrown away since the fabric bled and/or melted!

Bubblebath! I love my baths and now need them for therapeutic reasons. I bring a small bottle of bubblebath with me so I can enjoy the pleasure wherever I am. Oh, and I always pack a wine opener!
