Do you all wear cosmetics ,daytime

When do  you guys put on your" Face" do you like me ,do it after you have showered ,each and every day ,are you creatures of habit or do you only do that before you go to work, and do you smack it back on before the old man comes home so he will see how young and sexy you are .I am not good at explaining what I mean,I guess I am  asking 'what are your make up secrets"?.

I wear very little most days. I'm fortunate that I've had really good skin all my life, so I hardly ever wear foundation. I usually just wear eyeliner, mascara and a little lipstick and/or lip gloss. If I'm going out to dinner or have a special occasion I'll put on more, like the foundation, blush and eye shadow.
If I know I'm staying home I don't wear any. I just don't like the way it feels.

I used to wear make up daily. You would not catch me out of the house without it. Always eyeliner, mascara, and a bronzer, occasionally some eyeshadow.
But once I was diagnosed with cancer and lost my hair for the first time, I kind of quit messing with any of it. Drawn on eyebrows look just like that, drawn on eyebrows. Eyeliner got harder to put on without a lash line to follow and there was nothing to put mascara on!
But every time my hair and brows and lashes have grown back, I do spend the first few weeks putting on make up just to be putting it on!
I used to be able to do it all in just a matter of minutes but now it has been so long since I messed with it, it is like learning to do it all over again.

I am 46 and still suffering from acne.  I work from home most of the time so will often stay makeup free when staying home so my face can heal.  I do put on makeup if I'm going out.  In the summer I get a bit of a tan and freckles and get away with eyeliner, mascara and lipstick but in the winter I am in dire need of more.  If I am just going shopping I use that wipe on powder foundation but for business I apply a good non-comegenic (sp) foundation that will cover my skin imperfections and age spots plus powder and then my eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipstick.  I've got it down to less than 5 minutes.  Makes me feel and look 10 years younger.

I won't even go check the mailbox without make-up on.  I have short hair, and I feel like I look like a boy if I don't have at least a little something on my face. Even if it's just a little eyeliner and lipstick. But I can put foundation, eyeliner, lipstick and a small amount of blush on my face in less than 5 minutes, so to me it's no big deal. I warned my hubby before we married that I was like that, and he didn't mind.

Heck, I even took time to apply make-up after my water broke before we went to the hospital! Good thing the really bad contractions didn't start until we were walking out the door. LOL

Not a creature of habit. Somedays I put it on before work, somedays I just don't wear it at all...I do feel better about myself when it's on...cover those dark mommy circles around the eyes :)

After I have showered before I go to work is when I put it one and I touch it up, lipstick etc through out the day..If I am going out again later in the evening I will totally redo it, so it looks fresh and wash it off again at bedtime.

I only wear makeup when I have to.
Estee Lauder (sp?) mascara is the bomb.  I don't wear alot, I use more sunscreen than anything.  The sun gives me a natural blush (not good) but it it what it is...I wear eyeliner, eye shadow and eye liner...I love to paint my nails and do nail art, no fake nails here only the read deal but to each their own.
When I look back at pictures of myself when I first started wearing makeup, I just about faint...I can't believe I wore so much and the funny thing is my sister was always the one my parents got on to about wearing too much makeup lol

When I go out, I wear lipstick, but I blot the he!! out of it, so it's just a touch of matte color....occasionally, I'll feel like wearin' more, but it's rare, and then it's only a little translucent powder, blush, mascara, and the lipstick...and I'd put it on after my shower...If I'm really in the mood to wear it, I may put on eye shadow, or eye shadow and eyeliner...but I feel I look best without it, and so does my husband...oh yeah, and I'll wear a bit of concealer under my tired ol' eyes...lol.....The stuff I DO wear is GOOD stuff...I wear Bobbi Brown makeup, which can only be bought at a few dept. stores or on-line, and I'll wear Maybelline Great Lash Mascara....The Bobbi Brown stuff is expensive, but it's worth it..

I love makeup. If im going out I usually always put some on, otherwise I feel BLAH.
When Im home I usually stay bare-faced makeup free, unless Im feeling groggy and I feel I need to make myself feel better or look good for the b/f I just put some mascara on and some chapstick or lip gloss.

For the days I do go out to school or work....
My secret is: Aveeno mosturizing lotion, dab on neutrogena liquid foundations on any blemishes(only the blemishes, I dont want to cake it on all over my face). Some black eyeliner, mascara and a light(usually white) eye shadow.

For the dramatic look, I love BLUE eyeshadow on the bottom lid, wipe offf the excess and it loooks like I have blue eyeliner on the bottom lid, it makes my eyes pop.

But Overall I go for the natural look, if I want to make an impression I put on some bronzer (very lightly) to add some color.

But really it's too much work, so I like to keep it simple and natura, justl mascara a thin line of eyeliner and lipgloss most days.

I wear a small amount of make-up to work, and if we're going out.
Tinted moisturizer, mascara & lipstick/gloss.

I don't wear it specifically for the hubby, but I do feel better when I have a little something on my face. . .however if we're hanging around the house I don't wear it at all.  I guess I'm a little lazy,  :)

Also, like ChitChat, if I do happen to go to work barefaced, I often get the "are you ok?  you look so tired?".

I go all natural.  Never been one for much makeup.  I may slap some mascara on once in a while but that is about it.  Usually the tube dries out before i use it all up.

I am not by any means a creature of habit. Some days I don't shower until right before work (I work at 5pm) some days I shower at 8am it just depends if I am going to be leaving the house before work or not. I NEVER leave the house unshowered. I do always wear make-up though, usually some moisturizer, maybe some powder, black eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. That's about it. Only takes about 5 minutes max.

I do wear make-up in the morning at work. Where I work, the impression you give is critical, so you always have to wear the perfect suit, perfect clothes, perfect hair, perfect presence basically. The corporate world can be demanding of your time, effort, everything, and to build rapport the first step is to look corporate. My company works this way unfortunately. Over the weekend I relax. I don't wear make-up just for my hubby alone. He likes me all natural lol.
My preference? I'd rather NOT wear make-up. It takes at least 10 minutes of my time every day. That's 50 minutes per week!!!!!

When I don't wear it, people ask if I am not feeling well LOL!  I like it natural looking and not take too long to apply. Every morning .... and I usually never reapply come 5:00PM .... LOL~!

I wear make-up all the time.  My make up secret is to use two different colored eye-liners and a beige eye shadow.  If I'm in a hurry, it's just powder, eye-liner and some lipstick.  I am olive toned so I have a basic "tan" all year round.

The older you get, the less make-up you should wear.

Hahaha, I like how you capture the scenarios in a few sentences! I have always gone very easy on make-up but realized that at the current midlife point I owe it to the world to not look like a crumpled glass of milk. My routine after showering goes like this: slap some lotion on my face, cover some ugly pores with some magic watery age defying powder stuff, use some eyeliner and waterproof mascara in case I will cry that day. Add lipstick and wipe 50% off so it doesn`t look too ridiculous. Dab same lipstick on cheeks and wipe it off to have just a hint of life. And that`s it. Takes 5 minutes and costs about 30 $ per year. I might repeat the lipstick procedure by the end of the day but usually skip it due to the mad rush to daycare.
