Gosh!! Now I'm more confused than ever..so many options I don't know where to go lol
I appreciate your posts my friends. Thank you! I'll show this to my hubby to make a decision. I'll let you know how it goes!!
My favorite place is France. I love Paris and the South of France (Provence, the French Riviera). But I've already been there a couple times, so my next vacation will be Bali. Bali is beautiful too, but very different. Beach vs. city. Can't wait to hear where you decide to go.
While living in Europe, I invested quite some money to get away from it, especially Paris (just kidding). My favorite place is still Chicago. This city has everything I love.
I love the gulf of Mexico too! I used to live there!
Clearwater Beach in Clearwater, Florida,,,I love the gulf of mexico !!!
prettiest place on earth Costa Rico
I'm still a kid at heart. Just love Disney (Orlando) The Disney resorts are just great with really nice swimming pools and restaurants. Plus we can't forget Pleasure Island for great music, comedy and of course, the bar scene period. Just alot of fun without the kids.
Come to the land down under, the summer here will thaw out ya bones!! i went to chicago in the summer and i loved it,what a nice place! I also went to wisconcin and surrounding areas was impressed how friendly and nice you americans are!! I know a few people that went to france and they said the frenchies were rather rude to the tourists,i cant speak french and dont like the thought of munching on snails and frog legs blahhh!! You may starve though, our meals in resturants and mc donalds are way smaller!!
Hawaii, I'd love to go back there. We were only able to spend 5 days there and it wasn't enough to see and do all we wanted!
If you've never gone there, go someday. The water is crystal clear and beautiful. The air is balmy and just right, and I was struck with the smell of flowers the minute we left our hotel room. And the flowers! They have plants and flowers you've probably never seen before. I wish we could have seen the other islands. We were on Waikiki Beach. Yeah, it was a little touristy but still nice. We went to a luau. Gotta go to a luau while in Hawaii! And see the volcanoes, etc. I tell ya, I didn't want to leave! My husband had to drag me onto the plane. But I'm going back someday!
Im not sure if they do or not. Google it and see. I just go for the weekend when i am in Texas.
Oh the war lord is up to something..........He has been on the phone with PS plotting something!!!!! I sleep with one eye open!!!!
Hi hun, how are your feline war lords???
Does Padre Island have vacation packages?
wolf, wouldn't I have to get out of the plant to go visit the ape's one? How would I communicate with them in case I needed directions? Do you know how expensive it is these days to get a space shuttle to get out of here? Take the corner lol....but I like your Japan idea hun.
margypops, then I was right? the French do hate Americans huh? Oh well, I'd be wearing the american flag all over if I went there. Like you, I am proud to be an American citizen. Paris is so beautiful.
Trudie, my husband would love your island ideas. He loves the beach. He wants to teach me how to free dive but the fins he got me are too big. I can't swim with those things. I drawn lol.
Padre Island in the winter and the Black Hills in the summer.
It would help to speak some French in any part of France ,the Parisians are the most pleasant from the other French I met on the occasions I have been there. It is true they are not too helpful when you ask the way especially in English so a few phrases would be a good idea.,and of course in this climate now with our problems, the French, like other Europeans are somewhat anti American, I dont care, I make a point of wearing my flag pin and my US flag on my cap when I go to Europe,I am still proud I am a US citizen.as they say in England 'Like it or Lump it '
I live in Canada so somewhere warm is on my list. I haven't been to all the islands in the Carribean yet but especially loved Antigua, Barbados and Jamaica. I have always done the all inclusive holidays but next time would rent a villa and do my own thing.
San Francisco and the wine regions of California would be another pick.
Planet of the Apes .... or Japan
Hmmm....Paris......I can smell french food already!!! I'd love to go to Paris. I have heard rumors that you must speak french in Paris instead of your own language, especially english. They don't like it whe people speak english. Is it true? I've never been to Paris before.
Well you are not too far from the Keys but Hawaii is my best bet, or an expensive flight to Paris!
