Menopause 7 years after hysteerectomy?

Can you still have menopause 7 years after Hysterectomy.  I have a list of symptoms as long as my arm, the main ones being really bad fatigue, vaginal dryness/itching, aching joints, mood swings, sudden tears, hot sweats,  headaches, and  no energy to name a few - I feel like i´m going mad.  I did not really have any symptoms after my operation but as the years have gone on there is definately something happening and it´not nice. Any advice would be appreciated.

It was a total hysterectomy I had so I was expecting menopause to hit me more or less straight away but I felt fine.  I had my gallbladder removed about 10 weeks ago and as I have hypothyroidism that was checked and all was ok. Have been to my GP and awaiting blood test results.  I do not take any multivitamins but will start, I am gluten intollerant so my diet is healthy. I do not want HRT if possible but how I feel at the moment I think I would try anything.  Thank you for your advice.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Hysterectomy without removal of the ovaries will not result in menopausal symptoms. Now with age and declining hormone levels you may be having symptoms. A general evaluation by a Doctor regarding the cause of your symptoms is necessary. Also taking multivitamin tablets, healthy diet and regular exercise will help. HRT may be discussed with your Doctor.
Hope this helps.
