Hi, I went through menopause early due to surgery 2X on each ovary due to cysts, so by age 45 I was done. Cranky, yes I am sure it is the cause of divorce, thank goodness my hubby was a saint.  The symptom that was most bothersome to me was my head-- my brain felt like it was cooking an egg on it--I don't know how else to explain it. I wasn't real bad with the night sweats but it did happen. and also the foggy headed feeling. Then the weight gain will begin exercise and watch your diet, it's 3 times harder to lose weight during this time in a woman's life. Good Luck!!
