Strange symptons

Hi, I'm 56 and had my last period over 9 months ago. I've been having the usual hot flushes, night sweats, dryness and disturbed sleep. I'm having much discomfort down below (back & front) have a constant feeling of pressure and soreness. My GP wanted me to have blood test to check for ovarian cancer and went for that yesterday. Have strange sensation of pulstating in my lower back and strange sensations under my skin. These symptons are always more severe at night. Don't have any trouble passing water, do tend to suffer with constipation from time to time. My sex life has reached zero and on the rare occasions we do have intercourse my poor husband has been in pain afterwards. No pain for me just this discomfort. Can't escape it even when sitting or laying down. Don't know what's causing the problems and getting very concerned. Has anyone out there suffered similiar problems?  Don't know if this is relevant but take Thyroxine for underactive thyroid (100mg) plus blood pressure medication for high B.P.

Hi, thanks so much for your comment and asking how things are. Plucked up courage to call doctors surgery for results and VERY relieved to get the all clear on blood test for the ovarian cancer. Then rang hospital and my CT scan shows nothing unusual just the scar tissue from the thyroid op. I've been very stressed out over getting the results and I'm so relieved both have come back clear but still none the wiser over what's causing all my problems. My Mum thinks the majority of my problems are due to the menopause plus I've had IBS for years. Feel about a 100 at the moment and very stiff in all my joints.
Yet another trip back to the GPon Monday. Feel like I'm always moaning.

Hope things are good with you and welcome to the forum.

Take good care.

I'm new to this forum and just reading the posts.  I'm wondering how you are doing and how your test results came out.

Wishing you the best!
