Wild Yam Cream

Has anyone tried this?  I have read up on it but would like to hear any comments from those who have used it.

A friend used Wild Yam cream and swore by it....I tried it and it did nothing for me.  Everybody's different...it might be just the thing for you.

Thanks for responding - glad to hear from someone who has tried it.  You wouldn't happen to remember what the ingredient of concern was, would you?

Sounds like something I should try. My hormones are so screwed up I'm not sure what's happening to me anymore. GYN has me on Premarin and Prometrium. Then we found that my Thyroid is screwed up so my GP has me on Synthroid. I've got more hormones running thru my body. It's CRAZY. I feel like ****!

Yes,  I've tried it for about 5 years.   There are a number of brands you can buy at a health food store, but the one I used was Progestacare by Lifeflow.   I recently discovered that their was a known Cargenogen in it.   I talked to my doctor about it and was changed to a prescription progesterone called Prometrium 200mg.   It's been working great for me and it's FDA approved.   I started using natural progesterone about 5 or 6 years ago for pre-menopausal symptoms.    It helped me within the first month of taking it.

Yummy?!  Lol.....well, I don't know about taste testing it!  It's actually a natural progesterone cream.  I suppose if I have one of those 'menopausal moments', I could try eating it for SUPER fast results!!  (Just kidding.....please kids, don't try this at home...wink wink).

Seriously though, it's a cream that the local health food store sells.  It is supposed to be a very natural alternative to Rx progesterone.  I have purchased a bottle but have not yet tried it out.
