estrogen cream

I have just been prescribed vaginal estrogen cream to relieve some symptoms that I've had. (irriatated feeling, cramps, pinching feeling) Does anyone have any feedback on this cream? Kind of concerned as breast cancer runs in my family and not sure about using this cream. Has anyone tried anything more natural?

Me too. From what I've been told very little of the estrogen is absorbed into the body. It might the safest HRT as far as cancer risk goes. Living with the symptoms was no longer an option for me. I'm not aware of a natual HRT.

If breast cancer runs in your family i am surprised that your doctor would give you anything that has estrogen in it.  I think you are better off getting off the cream and living with the symptons.
