menopause with pregnancy symptoms

i had 2 doctors confirm i was postmenopause.  but i had missed a few periods here and there.  now it has been 4 months and i am having breast discomfort and am gaining weight.  the last doctor stated that with my estrogen and progesterone levels so low.  there was no way i could get pregnant.  now i am little worried.  should i be

You still haven't reached menopause yet.  So that means you're in peri-menopause and not post menopause.  You have to go one complete year with no periods at all and including no spotting.  If you still spot, you can even get pregnant.

Since your levels are low, it's alot harder to get pregnant.

But I don't know why they told you that you already were past menopause?  Any doctor would know that.
