ultra sound

I recently had an ultra sound scan and tranvaginal scan. The results have come back saying retroverted uterus measures  10 x 7.5 x 6.5 and there appears to be a 12mm fibroid. The endometrium is thickened at 2.4 cm (day 1 of cycle) In the left adnexa is a 4 cm unilocular cyst presumably ovarian origin. I am worrying my self sick as to what it all means.

HI,
I sure can understand your concerns. Let us evaluate your reports. The fibroid is of a small size and should not be a cause of worry. However the ovarian cyst will require follow up. Also the thickened endoemtrium can be a cause of concern. A dilatation and curettage and a hysteroscopy may be necessary. Consult a gynaecologist for a thorough evaluation. Hope this helps.
Take care and good luck.

Thank you. It also says the endometrium is thickened at 2.4 cm(day 1 cycle) it has a hetrogenous apperance althogh no discrete focal adnormality is identified. I am getting my self in to right state. Please help.
