Hernia Repair Pain

I recently had a Lapascopic Hernia Repair. I have been out of surgary for a little over a month now. All my incisions have healed but the hernia area has been hurting more this last month than it did even before the surgary. I have been following all the post-op instructions exactually. No heavy lifting, ect. I dont know if the hernia was not repaired correctly or what. Please help!

Tommy,

I too had hernia surgery a few months ago and I am still suffering with pain.    I went back to see my surgeon and my regular MD.    Both doctors tell me that I am being too anxious.   My pain is located where the incision is and below that area.    I have wondered if it is where the muscle fibers are trying to fuse back together.   This was my first surgery so I have nothing to compare it to.    Hope you get some relief soon.
