Try having a look at something called 'Blue balls'. Its something I had when I was with my girlfriend. Its a very common thing for guys who just get excited.
BAD TESTICULAR PAIN FOLLOWING WORKOUTS? guys - i've been there. in my case it turned out to be epididimytis. it was horrible, horrible pain - the tugging sensation and just an intense, never=ending dull pain in my balls. It developed a day after performing a plyometric workout routine, this time I did the exercise wearing boxer-briefs rather than briefs, or, even better, a jock strap. I was referred to a urologist and given antibiotics. now I wear a jock strap every time I workout, play sports, etc. just to keep my gear from bouncing around and haven't had any more complications thank God. Look if you're suffering from this go straight to a doctor and get fixed up as it won't just go away. and if you don't already wear one, begin wearing a jock strap and avoid the agony. I've broken three bones, had several stitches, torn discs in my back and ripped different ligaments - and nothing was as painful or as miserable as this. Also should mention that my brother got the same thing after just frisbee golf while wearing boxers. we were both around 30 at the time. Doctors said it does run in families.
im experiencing pain in left side of scrotum even sometimes i feel due to tight underwear wearing, but still a bit pain dnt knw why, not a tender pain.....
heretolistenandhelp,
You are saying that you are having rashes and itch. Have you cleared all the STD tests, especially Genital Herpes (HSV-2)? Genital Herpes cause lesions, itchy rashes along with genital pains in testicles, groin and penis.
HSV-2 is highly contagious which can be acquired through a normal skin to skin contact with other person on the boxer region (between hip and little above knee). Better clear all your STDs first.
There are several topics on testicle pains is running in the Herpes forum as well in this same Medhelp community.
So about a month ago my right testicle swelled up massively and i was bed bound for around 4 days. I am 21 years old and have had no previous testicular pains, but this hit me like a sledgehammer! At first I thought it may have been mumps, but after getting an emergency doctor called out I was told that it was more likely to have been epydidymitis.
A month down the line and my right testicle that had swollen up so badly now definately seems to have shrunk and im pretty sure that my sperm count has reduced too. I still get quite an aching sensation every now and again, and im really still quite worried. I did get reffered to the hospital for an ultrasound scan but it all seemed very slap-dash at the time, the doctor just shunned my comments about sperm count reduction when i asked him saying that: it shouldnt really be affected. The ultrasound scan did however show signs of scarring and damage from the infection that had occured.
Has anybody else had anything similar happen to them or does anybody have any advice that could help me?
My brothers, I am a 46 year old military guy, who started experiencing the same symptoms as most here, about 6 months ago. I've seen US military and German doctors, who've done blood and urine tests, CTs, and ultrasounds and have found nothing. It always starts with STD/AIDS checks, then infection checks, then everything else. Bottom line for me, from the German Docs was, "(W)e see this in alot of American Soldiers between 25 and 50. Learn to live with the pain. Use over the counter painkillers, or if you need something stronger, see your regular physician". Now, if that many US GIs in Germany are being seen for this, is it something caused by long-term exercise, and things like jumping out of planes and/or combat, as well? I've previously been diagnosed with back issues, due to long-term twisting of the spine while wearing body armor, etc., and slow degenerative spine disorder. Oh, and about a year or so ago, I was diagnosed with minor prostatitis. My primary care physician is claiming it's epididymititis, but I don't buy it. Seems like too many others here have the exact same issues I have, and it isn't epididy. I guess I can live with the pain, if I have to , but I really don't want to!!! I take various vitamins and supplements, some of which are testostrone boosters, so (not bragging) the boys work fine - maybe too good. I can hold off for up to 3 hours (!) and at 46, shoot like a 17 year old. It's just the chronic, nagging pain in the kidneys, left groin area, and lower abs that's driving me nuts. I'll keep an eye on the site and keep all posted as to any changes or different diagnosis received.
