Not sure what this is...

Recently I got some sort of bug  bite looking thing on my leg. On the first day that it appeared, it was extremely itchy. I scratched it for a while but then stopped because i knew it would only make it worse.  The next day it became painful rather than itchy.  It doesn't hurt if I don't touch it, however if it is touched it's pretty bad.  My room mate has a puppy and it had fleas for a while, but it doesn't look like other flea bites I've gotten.  Also I am concerned that it is not a bug bite at all, rather it is something I have picked up from jiu jitsu practice.  Anyways it's been a week since I first saw it, and it is only getting worse (i think).

The bite or whatever it is, is on my upper left leg.

Please help.  Thanks

oo..and u need to drain it out..cuz if u dont, it would get worse...that u might need to go to a doctor to drain it out and to give u some antibotics. so if it is a staff, just get a needle and slowy poke at it, and then from there try slowly to drain out the pus and liquid day by day.( it hurts, so be strong.)

It could well be you are having a bad reaction to an insect bite. Fleas and mosquitos release a kind of saliva which humans tend to react to.
It may well even be an inverted pimple. But either way, get a doctor to have a look at it. It may just need a topical anti-histamine type cream.
