Holding Back Ejaculation

Can you do any serious harm to your prostate, bladder, or urinary tract from stopping the flow of semen at your urethra after masturbation? This was accomplished by holding he end with a finger. After a few seconds to go to the bathroom or find a tissue the pressure is released.  I am afraid that I have hurt myself by doing this over many years.  It did not cause pain so I did not think anything of it until I recently had testicular soreness and protein and tiny amount of blood found during a urine dipstick test.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi H Anything I know comes from working on here doing a lot of reading, But I think if you put yourself on a course of kegels it will do you the world of good, does not matter how big a family is, by getting rid of the incontinence, this will be good for your self image, the kegels will tighten things up for you.

Thanks for the response....being that I have a full family I am not to worried about incontinence....are there any other risks due to the duration of this activity and the fluids being forced back....ie cancer or other ailments?

Also, is your knowledge in this area due to your readings or through experience?  Thanks again for your help.

Hi H, Not a very good thing to have been doing, its sends semen back into the bladder, till one day instead of ejaculating you will end up with retrograde ejaculations.
You may overcome this problem by doing kegels, this will strengthen up your PC muscle and help give you stronger ejaculations, but form now on please just ejaculate the right way, lots better for you.
For kegels just google pegym, and look under exercises.
