Well, if you weren't "happy" with it, why did you do it in the first place? Seriously, if one is motivated, I think the results will most likely be better. At my age, it wasn't going to ruin my love life if it didn't turn out well. It's a long story, anyway, too many details for a forum like this. I would say to anyone that has decided to get it done, make sure you are on the same wavelength as your doctor on how you want it done and try to pick a doctor that is sympathetic even if they suspect you're a little weird. I wound up with a doctor that I'm sure regarded me as a nuisance (thanks to my "Yellow Pages" approach to this) and had I known how he was going to perform the surgery, I would have sought out a different doctor. I was beyond dismayed when I took off the bandage, I thought my sex life was ruined, but it does take a few weeks for the numbness to go away so you can see if your weenie is functioning normally again. Fortunately it all turned out very well, maybe the doctor did know what he was doing after all, but he sure wasn't going to take any input from me. As for pain,
I used to run marathons, and as someone said to me last week, people that run marathons have a high tolerance for pain. So I might not be "Mr. Average" when it comes to judging painfulness.
I wonder what jimmyboip ended up doing? Maybe he was not for real. Who knows?

I would say go for it. I took one Ibuprofen because I had to work the next day. There was really no pain. Some discomfort at first, but it was easy to ignore. The nerve ending do go through changes, took about 8-9 months for everything to settle down, but from the beginning the sensation was more intense & better. Yes, I was apprehensive from reading negative comments on the Internet, but I don't know where those people were coming from. I should have had it done when I was young.

I think I wanted to be circumcised when I was 19. I waited till I was 64 to get it done and I am very pleased with the results. I think if a man really desires this, he will probably be happy with the outcome. I think it depends on the individual physiology to a large extent.
