Small lump on my testicle

Hi, I am a 30 year old men,

About 16 days ago I started having pain in my testicles, but it was much more serious in my left one.I saw a doctor that said it was epipidymitis and prescribed antibiotics, but the pain would not go away and after a week I went and saw an urologist. He felt my testes and said it doesn't seem to be anything serious, stop the antibiotics and take ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation.

I felt better after that, but after another 4 days I found a small lump near the top of me left testicle, close to where the epidimis is. It is very small, it seems to be right on the surface of the testicle and not attached to the epidimis. It feels like cartilage(or like one of those warts that you have on the fingers sometimes) and it does not hurt. I saw a doctor about this and she said it is nothing to worry about, that it was about 1 mm in size and that it feels like a fibrous nodularity. She mentioned though that she is not an expert in the field, so I will see an urologist in a couple of weeks.

Until then, I was wondering what your opinion is about this. I am REALLY SCARED that I might have cancer!

Thank you

Every case is different so I guess it makes things difficult.

I had a small and sore lump come up at the top of each testicle.

I went to my local doctor who told me it was a common thing, just a small cyst, he then sent me for an ultrasound which showed I did have a cyst, from there my doc sent me to our local hospital, he said they may drain them and all would be OK.

At the hospital the surgeon had a good feel of them and said come back in a few years when they are big enough to work on (the cysts that is), I asked him roughly how long that would be, he said maybe 10 years, now 5 years later the pain has stopped (it did after the ultrasound) the cysts are still there but have not grown.

I think the pain was caused because I thought I had testicular cancer or something, keep feeling my testicles to see if the lumps had grown, as soon as I found out what it was I left them alone and the pain vanished, to date it has never come back.

By the way the lumps were the shape and size of a grain of rice, right on top of each testicle, no it isnt caused by masturbation, funny most things that go wrong with the male genitals seems to be blamed on masturbation, I guess we all must feel guilty or something.
