What could I be suffering from ?

Hi Doctor

I'm a 49 year old married male. I've not been keeping well since Nov'15, suffering from fever, cold, sore throat, body ache and persistent flu like conditions. My wife too, aged 40 is suffering similar symptoms since Dec'15 end, Jan'16, beginning, probably having been infected by me. I've checked for heart conditions and I'm quite normal. What could we be suffering from and what are the recommended tests that I need to do to diagnose my illness.

I suggest you speak with your physician about having a complete physical including a complete blood panel.  Your doctor knows you best.  I am not a doctor so I am just throwing ideas your way.  Things that pop into my mind from the descriptions you've offered make me think of the flu, allergies (perhaps mold) and all the way to depression.  With that said, depression isn't contagious so I am not sure how your wife suffering from similar circumstances comes into play.  Please check with your doctor.
