can epididymitis cause hypogonadism? (ostedoc)
that is the ?i had a epididymitis 3yrs ago now i have hypogonadism.started to have some sexual problems after the epiddymitis.the dr did not give a urtasound nor did he tell me about getting one.i still said that i still had pain. he told me that some guys are just senitve.if anybody can anwser this please.thanks
Well, the nature of my problem is, you measure the amount of T in my blood and it's just under or one 1 nanogram over the bare baseline absolute minimum.
I seem to remember it was like 48 ng with a range of 58-20000.
The usual stuff applies: no libido, maintaining an erection is difficult, high voice, little body hair, depression, lethargy, forgetting things, etc.
Fixing it is irrelevant now anyway - she got tired of me no longer being a normal man, and left.

The answers I have in my area is this
1) if I wanted to have them CUT OFF and become a woman, an endocrine system is something you can play with
2) Just becoming MALE is... well, you're male enough. No libido? Tired? Hey, viagra and expensive anti depressants. Please buy all 15 scrips, so I can get the drug company to give me a Porsche.

baron i wonder the same thing .i can tell you that i was givein androgel for about a year and it did not do much for my sex drive but it did cuse testicular atropey i was trying to figer out what aws goning on with me since i was seeing a tharipist and she put me on lexpro and i told her that i was worried about useing it since i on the androgel becuase i had just started the androgel and saw that thare was side effect to the lexpro i now have lesse volume with has made thing worst for me.i have read that thay can remove the cysts dont know if will fix any thing.i had pain in the cysts for at least 3years .after i started the androgel and did a cleanse for yeast the pain has gone.i have read that hcg can work on the leydig cells some thing like that and some herbs kick in the Lh/fsh which works on the testis i have the same??? trying to find what kind of dr would be good to go to.if you get any answers please post.421

Here are some questions I have.
1) I've had these cysts since the late 90s. Does this mean the cells are damaged and therefore useless, and the T levels I have now are the best they'll ever get, now?
2) How does one regenerate these cells to become normal? I can't find a doctor who will put my T levels back into a normal range, and I'm tired of being sick and tired and being irritable, depressed and without a libido.
3) Will surgical removal of the cysts help? How involved is that?

Well, I had a lump in each testicle right at the epididymis.
The urologist, after feeling around, found that they were cysts.
Never suggested testing.
I've had symptoms of low test - no libido, irritability, etc. so I got it tested, and I think the range was 56 - 2500 or something and I clocked in at 52.
And so the person said "let's get a second opinion" went to a second doctor - 45.
So this person said "I'm going to refer you to someone else" - who did another test, 58, "YOU'RE CURED! GET OUT."
I still have no libido, I'm still depressed, lethargic and irritable. The doc cheerfully suggested I needed Wellburtrin, Strattera, Zoloft, Cialis and Viagra.
Let's treat every symptom! Not the cause!
I said what's wrong with treating the cause and he said no, he was very wary of giving out male hormones, the body is a delicate thing etc etc etc and besides, you have normal beard growth so you must be OK.
Said person specialises in turning men into women so apparently if I'd wanted to have breasts implanted and get rid of all my test and that, my delicate body would have been fine by him to mess around with.
Then he let some crackhead steal his laptop, so my medical info's out there, he sent me a letter saying he's like REQUIRED to tell me this, but like, whatever.
