Feeling out of breath by not doing strenous exercise is not normal; if by drinking "8 bottles of bud" you mean beer, then this is not affecting your respiratory function. However smoking will.
For your helath sake a chnge of habits would be in order. If you cut out the smoking and drinking I think you will be surpirsed how good you will fell over time. Some of this is dependent on how long you have been smoking for and how many cigarettes you smoke a day.
if you know the answer, why do you ask? if you are uncomfortable and have a good feeling as to why, then do what you know you should. at least cut back
