pelvic pain

I have pelvic pain that goes into my legs,  what causes that?

well i have been to the doctor..i am 29 urologist thought it was prostatitis .......i have already been treated for that....i thought might have been from a std like herpes or someting......i had a sexual encounter 6 months ago....i have tested neg 5/6/811/17 weeks.....the urologist even milked the prostate and gave me leviquin.......so i dont know whats going on...

Pelvic pain that radiates down the legs can be caused by any number of things, in my case I get quite a lot of pain in that area that makes me feel about 100 yrs old, the cause is Arthritis in the lower back, pain seems to radiate to many places because it travels along the nerves.

Another cause of pelvic pain that causes the muscles in the legs to ache is Prostatitis, I dont know how old you are but if you are over 40 I would suggest you get a PSA test done, this gives some indication as to how your Prostate is doing.

I would not get to worried about your pain but I think a doctors visit may be a good idea.
