red spot on penile gland

I am concerned about a recent developemnet on the head of my penis. I noticed it yesterday, as only a small 1mm red circular dot. Later that day (approximately 10 hours) it was expanded to 4mm. It is sligthly raised and can be felt with touch, however doestn hurt or itch. I did have oral sex the day before with a known partner who didnt show any signs or know anything contrary. I have read several things about papuel and palgue and dont see a match necessarily. I havent heard of anything showing up this instantly. I dont know if it is just coincidence in timing or a STD. Can you please offer an help or suggestions, short of going and getting check, which I will if this doesnt bear anything directly related.

As of today it is only slightly more raised and still now pain or iching.

if there was excessive suction during oral sex, it could be a harmless condition where a small capillary bursts under the skin.  it is like a tiny bruise or blood blister.  it should heal on its own in a couple days or so.
