Deployment~how do you deal with it?

Alright ladies, this is the subject most of us like to avoid. BUT it's inevitable. I'd like this thread to be about ways to deal with our husbands being gone. What do you do to stay busy? How do you handle stress? How do you handle the fights (if any) and frustrations?

My husband hasnt deployed yet, but when he leaves for other things, I find its the worst at first, then gets better then is pretty good. But once they get back I feel so strange. I had gone so long with no hugs and kisses, now Ive got all this. Ive done 3 months straight with just phone calls. Now he is only home on weekends. No contact at all during the week. I find this harder so far (only on the second week of this) Once Im used to him gone, hes back. Once Im used to him back, hes gone. I think Im going to get a second job to work lots. Keep in touch with his friend here. Go to church (though I dont normally).

Finding a way to keep busy it the best way. I had a newborn after the first two month, and hadn't been home for a LONG time so the first two month I spent visiting, and going to doctors appointments, and after until I came to Korea, I had Elijah keeping me busy. I did get really bored though. My mom dad and brother were gone during the day to either school or work, so I didn't have much to do besides sit around and watch tv. But I'm glad I did since now I don't understand anything that's said over here lol.
