Hi all,
I've been reading so much about iud removal, our insurance just ran out, so I opted for self removal. Painless at first. But the amount of blood I've lost is alarming more than AF. It's stopped for a few days, and now I'm back to spotting. Fresh spotting too. Has anyone self/or professionally removed an iud and had the same experience? I've had cramping, bubble feelings, slight pain but not enough to go to er. Is it just my body removing it's lining? Correcting it's self, if you will?
Also. I've read a lot about the statistics of miss carriages after in iud removal. Any one have a healthy pregnancy (by healthy I mean not a miss carry) right after removal? My husband and I are TTC, and his insurance kicks in in 2 months but my iud was scheduled to come out now. I took it out on Friday 27th may, slowly and carefully like I read so much on.
Any advise would be great! Please no "you shouldn't have done that" "you're not ready for a baby" these are decisions my husband and I have made. We're both 30, great careers in executive management, no children, responsible professionals. I'm just looking for some constructive advice. Thank you!
